First Nations

LSLA and its predecessor JLLA have been involved in the design, construction and project management of numerous First Nation projects throughout Central and Northern British Columbia . In our earlier years we have been involved in the design and construction of several school grounds for Carrier and Sekani bands in Tachie and Portage as well as in Gitwangak. More recently, we have worked with Kitselas First Nation and Parks Canada in the development of the Kitselas National Heritage Site near Terrace, B.C. and the Kwadacha, Saik'uz, Lheidli T'enneh and Gitxsan First Nations in the design development of neighbourhood and community parks, therapeutic gardens adjacent to Health Centres, community identity, and recreational opportunities for all age groups.
