First Nations

LSLA and its predecessor JLLA have been involved in the design, construction and project management of numerous First Nation projects throughout Central and Northern British Columbia.

We have previously designed school grounds for Carrier and Sekani bands in Tachie, Portage, and Gitwangak. Recent work includes collaboration with Kitselas First Nation and Parks Canada on the Kitselas National Heritage Site near Terrace, B.C., and projects with Kwadacha, Saik’uz, Lheidli T’enneh, and Gitxsan First Nations involving neighborhood parks, therapeutic gardens, and recreational spaces.
