Community Foundation Park

Our solid track record now tallies more than 30 park projects, varying from rustic, natural provincial parks to formal, urban parks in communities throughout northern and central British Columbia.  JLLA has developed long-range master plans for major community parks including Carrie Jane Gray Park; McMillan Creek Fishing Park; and North West Sector Park Reserve for the District of Chetwynd.  In addition, JLLA has produced detailed design for numerous municipal parks including Uplands Park and Ceal Tingley Memorial Park in Quesnel; Millennium Park in Prince George; Community Foundation Park; Heritage Museum site development for the District of Vanderhoof; Community Plaza in Burns Lake; and Haisla Boulevard Linear Park in Kitimat.

 

 

Our design and/or construction review of  playing field complexes includes:

  • Prince George Youth Soccer Facility (Phase 3);
  • Recreation Place Relocation (working as a sub-consultant in the development of two slow-pitch softball diamonds for the City of Prince George);
  • Quesnel Youth Soccer Facility (where a master plan and phase 1 details were developed); 
  • a turfed football field for Burnaby Central Secondary School.
